The Chesapeake Bay Sight Foundation (CBSF) celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new office in St. Michaels on June 14. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a festive and well-attended affair, marking a new chapter for the organization. The event was attended by state Senator Johnny Mautz and Easton Mayor Megan Cook, among many local residents who came to show their support.

Guests were treated to an array of refreshments and hors d'oeuvres under the shade of lush trees, with the local Carpenter Street Saloon restaurant contributing their renowned crab dip. The convivial atmosphere underscored the community's solidarity and commitment to the foundation's cause.

The foundation, a project close to founder Colleen Sheehan's heart, has reached a crucial stage. With more than ten years of committed work, Sheehan has enlisted Breanne Tsang to join the CBSF team in the task of revamping and reintroducing the foundation's website. This development not only indicates progress but also a revitalized commitment to improving the foundation's reach and influence, showcasing Sheehan's vision and the steadfast support of the community. The ribbon-cutting ceremony wasn't just about inaugurating a new office; it commemorated the enduring unity of a community working together for a shared cause.
